Hey y'all! Welcome to Lone Star Bead Co - I hope you stay a while :) My name is Mia Jess and I'm the face behind the beads. As a college student in the lone star state (wreck 'em!), I'm always looking to spend my time doing things I enjoy - one of which being handcrafting genuine, high quality jewelry. 

Growing up in the livestock industry, jewelry has always been a huge interest of mine - especially being exposed to sterling silver pearl-style jewelry. My vision with this company is to create high quality, hand strung pearls at as affordable of a price as I can make them for y'all. My goal is to help people build their stacks, whether this be their very first piece or a strand of pearls to finish one off - while being able to express my creative side and interest in business.

**Machine made pearls are 100% sterling silver, NOT Navajo Pearls. Handmade Navajo pearls are an investment, and it is important to acknowledge the history behind this style of jewelry. I am not of Navajo descent, and these pearls are machine made, so they are not traditional Navajo pearls. I simply enjoy making jewelry and working with high quality materials such as sterling silver. If you are looking for handmade pieces, they will generally not look like the oxidized versions I sell, and will most likely not be under 5mm. Regardless of the lack of handmade beads, everything I sell from the clasps to the beads themselves are 100% 0.925 sterling silver and will not tarnish.
